THE BEATLESON THE ORGAN OF ST PETER'S CHURCH, WOOLTON, LIVERPOOL

This recording is my own way to thank all those who showed me that ‘long and winding road” that has always run alongside my academic musical life. It is a personal dream come true: a visit to the inspiration sources of the “Fab Four”.

In 2018 I recorded ‘Beatles love Bach in the organ of St. Barnabas’ Church, Penny Lane. The very same pipe organ that played during the liturgy when Sir Paul McCartney sang hymns in the choir.

This recording took place at St. Peter’s Church, Woolton, Liverpool: the place that witnessed the first meetings between John, Paul and George back in 1957.

Whilst the first album also presented works by Bach, this album is fully dedicated to the Beatles. Like pendants stringed along a necklace, a series of excerpts from songs that left a deep mark in my life, as they probably did in so many fans.
